Penn State Access Account Signature Stations


Students: If you attended the First-year Testing, Counseling and Advising Program (FTCAP) during the summer, you should already have your Penn State Access Account. If not, take your Penn State photo ID card to one of the Penn State Access Account signature stations listed below and follow the instructions there. Make note of your user ID and password when they are displayed on the screen. Your account should be active within one business day. If you have problems using the Penn State Access Account signature station, please contact computer support staff at the location of the signature station (if applicable), the ITS Computer Accounts Office, one of the ITS consulting locations at University Park, or consulting locations at other campuses.

Faculty and Staff: If you are an employee, apply for your Penn State Access Account by completing and submitting a paper form to the ITS Computer Accounts Office, 101 Computer Building, University Park. Forms are available from the ITS Computer Accounts Office, or you can fill out the Access Account application form. After three business days you can obtain your userid and password by taking your Penn State ID card to any of the Penn State Access Account signature stations listed below. If you have problems using the Penn State Access Account signature station, please contact computer support staff at the location of the signature station (if applicable), the ITS Computer Accounts Office, one of the ITS consulting locations at University Park, or consulting locations at other campuses.

Penn State Access Account signature stations are available at most of the remaining Penn State campus locations. Please contact the computer support staff at that campus location or the ITS Computer Accounts Office for additional information. Any corrections to this information should be sent to the ITS Computer Accounts Office.

Your Responsibilities: You are expected to exercise responsible, ethical behavior when using the University's computers, information, networks, or resources. To receive an Access Account, you must agree to abide by local, state, and federal laws, and University policies and guidelines.
