Access Project

The Access Project is a continuing effort to make the Internet available to all Penn State faculty, staff, and students. Available Internet services are found in the Internet Access Guide.

For additional information, please read the Access Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ). This document provides answers to common questions related to ITS Internet access and services.

The Accounts Re-engineering Project (Central Accounts Coordination Tracking of User Services or CACTUS) is part of the continuing effort to extend Internet services to the University community. This project was necessitated by the Y2K non-compliance of the former CAC IBM mainframe. The CACTUS project is a collaborative effort between the Accounts Services Office and Academic Services.
