Special Projects Group

This group provides consulting and support for AIX, IRIX, and Solaris systems. Academic Services currently supports departments in the Eberly College of Science, the Smeal College of Business, the College of Engineering, and the College of Liberal Arts. Expertise is also provided for the School of Information Sciences and Technology (IST) programs at the University Park location.

Machines donated via IBM SUR (Shared University Research) grants are also supported by consultants at the University Park location. IBM SUR Grants were made to the College of Business; Penn State Erie, The Behrend College; Penn State York; the Department of Economics; and the School of Information Sciences and Technology (IST).
