UNIX Seminars

The ITS Training Services group offers a broad spectrum of computing and information technology seminars while the Enabling Technologies Group provides classes in UNIX and other systems administration designed to continue the training of computer professionals at Penn State. Our intention each semester is to provide several introductory topics along with one or two advanced topics in UNIX computing, networking, and information technology. In addition, Enabling Technologies Group members along with staff from Consulting and Support Services (CSS) User Services provide introductory courses in UNIX.

In addition to regularly scheduled classes, this group assisted five campuses with AIX installations on IBM SUR grant machines for the School of Information Sciences and Technology (IST) programs.
