Penn State Directory Services Outage Scheduled for December 4, 2004

On Saturday, December 4, 2004, from 8:00 a.m. - noon, Academic Services and Emerging Technologies (ASET), a unit of Information Technology Services (ITS), will perform an upgrade to the Penn State Directory Services server, ldap.psu.edu. During this time, the following directory-based services will not be available:

• Directory updates via the ITS Secure Server, https://www.work.psu.edu/
• Penn State Oracle Collaboration Suite Calendar, formerly CorporateTime (applicable only to those who have an account to use this service)

Note for Oracle Collaboration Suite Calendar account holders/users: If you need to work with a particular calendar during the maintenance timeframe, it is suggested that you download a local copy prior to the outage start time. This way, you can maintain a local copy and sync it after the maintenance procedure is complete.
