Karen Hackett served as chair of the Commission for Women (CFW) Outreach Committee and served on its Student Issues, Book Project and Campus Liaison committees. She is the CFW chair-elect for 2005, elected in May, 2003.
Karen Hackett served as co-chair for the 2002 IT Day planning committee.
Karen Hackett serves as one of the ITS Communicators, acting as a liaison between ASET and the ITS Marketing and Communications group.

Al Williams serves as an appointed member of the SHARE Board of Directors and has been a member of SHARE for twenty years. For the past two years, Al has been responsible for the SHARE Strategic Concerns Survey.
Chris Hubing maintains the HUB Aquarium as an ongoing volunteer for the Marine Science Society. 2002 - 2003.

Jim Leous is the advisor for the Penn State Linux Users Group (LUG).
Jim Leous is currently the Assistant Coach of the State College High School Hockey team.
Kevin Morooney serves as the head coach for the State College High School Girls Soccer Team.
