One of the important services provided by the GEaRS group to the University's research community is software development, collaboration, and consultation. This is a constant process, with many researchers being assisted on a weekly basis. The following list represents just a few examples of this.
Collaboration with Dr. Yousry Azmy (Nuclear Engineering) and Dr. Frank Pugh (Biochemistry) on modeling and simulation of gene regulatory networks.
Collaboration with Dr. Reka Albert (Physics) and Dr. Costas D. Maranas (Chemical Engineering) on modeling and analysis of large-scale biological networks.
Collaboration with Dr. Stan Pennypacker, Professor Emeritus of Plant Pathology, on the conversion of geodetic computations written in C code segments to runable Fortran code. This included computing latitude/longitude to/from offset coordinates and converting metes and bounds to offset coordinates.
