Blogging

Description

Weblogging or blogging is a Web-based publication that varies in form from a group of hyperlinks to complete articles with comments by others. ET's blogging initiative will focus on creating a personal blog, which Penn State students, faculty, and staff may use for instructional as well as personal purposes. The primary deliverable will be a software suite that will allow authenticated entries and comments by Penn State Access Account authorized users. The goal is to keep content (the actual textual information of which each entry or comment is comprised) separate from presentation and utilize users' Penn State Access Storage Space (PASS) for storing information.

It is expected that some students will incorporate their respective blogs into their ePortfolio and that they will be able to migrate their entries to a commercial service upon graduation.
