Media over IP
Description
ET has begun an effort to extend videoconferencing and video over IP broadcasting to include high-definition (HD) video at various levels of compression as well as uncompressed streams. The high-bandwidth data connections provided by the Integrated Backbone, Internet2, and National LambdaRail provide the enabling infrastructure to support such high-end applications.
